RPHP RECOGNIZES SEVERAL OF ITS MOST DEDICATED SUPPORTERS AT ITS ANNUAL 2008 MEETING

RPHP's Executive Director, Joseph Mangano, presented awards to several of our most dedicated supporters at its annual meeting in New York on April 28, 2008.

Those cited by RPHP were model Christie Brinkley, who has worked closely with RPHP since the late 1990s; David Friedson, RPHP Vice President, board member and long-time benefactor and strategist; Gail Merrill, a Connecticut breast cancer survivor, activist and contributor, and supporters Bruce and Karen Montague, New York City attorney and designer.

Christie Brinkley Receiving award From Mr. Mangano. Christie Brinkley thanked RPHP for its efforts to educate the public regarding the health effects of nuclear radiation, and spoke about how the statistics that RPHP quotes are so vital because each number really represents the life of a child.
Gail Merrill receiving award Gail described how helpful Dr. Sternglass was in helping her understand the dangers of radiation, and that she was totally committed to helping educate the public regarding the potentially adverse health effects from nuclear power.
Bruce and Karen Montague receiving award Bruce thanked RPHP for all its hard work and very graciously suggested that it was really those at RPHP who should be receiving the awards.
